7:30-16.30 Mon/Wed/Fri and 07:30-15.00 Tue/Thur
Job Purpose
To manage the manufacturing Site Engineering Services across the whole group. Ensure legal and company compliance with all current and foreseen polices. Responsible for the Site Services/Building budget optimising SLA contracts and the effective management of all contractors. Assisting in developing and delivering a capital plan to manage compliance, risk and relevant functional efficiency projects.
Duties
- Ensure that all PPM activities are completed within the time
- Carry out fault finding to detect and repair electrical/mechanical faults on plant equipment across the site using the RCA process
- Complete site infrastructure repairs (Mechanical/electrical/Building Fabrications/Drainage)
- Ensure that all corrective and reactive activities are recorded in compliance with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System)
- Promote CI initiatives, maximising efficiency
- Day to day interaction with site services team, contractors, suppliers, security, and the operations team
- Ensure that all health, safety, and environment policies are adhered to by all personnel
- Liaise & collaborate with site services team, contractors, suppliers, security, and the operations team
Skills & Experience Required
- Qualified Electrician: 18th Edition (BS7671) qualified
- Previous experience of building management , refrigeration and air conditioning
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- Experience within manufacturing/production will be a distinct advantage
- Strong Health and Safety Awareness, ideally IOSH or NEBOSH trained
