SEN Teacher / ECT - Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for students with a range of special educational needs
  • Work collaboratively with the SENCo, teaching assistants, and wider staff to create and implement individual learning plans
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
  • Monitor and track student progress, adapting teaching methods to suit individual needs
  • Build meaningful relationships with students, parents, and carers
  • Contribute to students' social, emotional, and academic development

SEN Teacher / ECT - What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an ECT on track to qualify by summer 2025
  • Experience working with students with SEN, either in a teaching or support role
  • A degree in Education, Special Educational Needs, or a related subject
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Patience, creativity, and a proactive approach to teaching
  • A genuine commitment to inclusion and student success
