Science Graduate Teaching Assistant: Candidate Specification

• Recent Graduate with a 2:1 or higher in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or related field
• Strong academic background throughout GCSE’S and A-Levels in science related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or similar.)
• Have a strong passion for education and making a difference in student lives.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build a positive relationship with students and staff.
• Proactive and eager to learn from experienced educators.

Science Graduate Teaching Assistant: Job Specification

• Supporting pupils in KS3 and KS4  in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
• Working one-on-one or in small groups to deliver interventions to students who may have fallen behind.
• Assist the teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.
• Provide classroom support to ensure all students can access and understand the curriculum.
• Help monitor students’ progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Ability to explain complex topics and equations in an accessible and engaging way.
