Job Description – Science ECT
- Permanent full-time Science ECT role with a September 2025 start

Science ECT– What You’ll Be Doing:
- Teaching Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) to a wide range of students from Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 5
- Developing engaging, challenging lessons that cater to students’ needs and help them succeed academically
- Supporting students both in class and through one-on-one and small group support
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation
- Collaborating with colleagues to design and implement the curriculum and teaching resources
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback and adjusting teaching strategies as needed
- Inspiring students to pursue Science-related careers and helping them develop the necessary skills for success
Science ECT– What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS, or an ECT with experience teaching STEM subjects in a classroom environment
- A degree in a Science-related field (e.g., Physics, Chemistry and Biology.)
- A passion for teaching and inspiring students in the Science subjects
- Strong subject knowledge in one or more Science disciplines
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging way
- A creative, flexible approach to teaching, with the ability to adapt to different student needs
- A proactive attitude, ready to collaborate with colleagues and grow professionally
