If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! My client are dedicated to excellence in food safety and quality. The team works diligently to uphold the highest standards, ensuring products meet and exceed industry regulations and customer expectations. We are currently seeking a QA Auditor to help maintain and improve these standards across the site.
Key Duties:
- Routine monitoring and documentation of line hygiene, housekeeping, food safety, traceability, allergen management, legality and quality
- Effective non-conformance management for both product, process and packaging digressions, with root cause analysis conducted after every occasion, and recommendations passed to the Quality Assurance Manager for implementation
- Ensuring effective management of glass breakages under the defined company procedure
- Verification of HACCP standards across full product range on a regular basis
- Routine audit programme developed and undertaken to ensure food safety standards are continually challenged and improved
- Assist with external pest prevention audits at site
- Effective monitoring of both QAS and Line Standards, and ensuring both practical and written compliance in place across the business
- Follow set procedures for quality assessment on product, process and packaging, and working within defined measures set by Quality Assurance Manager
- Ensuring that audits are categorised and regularity is defined, for the purpose of ensuring food safety is maintained at all times
Experience / Qualifications:
- Previous experience working within quality assurance
- Experience working within food industry desirable
- Diligent and detail-focused
- Logical and methodical approach
- Knowledge of BRC compliance
- Minimum of basic Food Hygiene certification
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
Hours: Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm
