KPI Recruiting are currently working in partnership with one of the UK’s largest suppliers in their field to recruit an experienced Purchasing Manager. This role will be motivating the Purchasing team to control inventory levels, achieve KPIs and deliver cost savings to the overall division.

Key Duties:

• Managing and motivating a team of 4 within purchasing
• Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers
• Managing price negotiations
• Lead and develop the purchasing process while delivering best in class customer service to internal and external customers and suppliers
• Managing Inventory levels
• Working to and achieving KPI’s
• Looking at ways to improve lead times

Skills & Qualifications required:

• CIPS level 4 or equivalent level of experience
• Proficiency with an ERP package (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle,  etc. desirable
• Recent experience working within purchasing
• Experience leading a team/management
• Solid written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
• Organised, detail orientated, able to multi-task under pressure and meet tight deadlines
