Duties:

My client is looking for a dynamic leader with a passion for all things manufacturing - Could this be you? Do you excel in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for motivating teams? If so, this one's for you!

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Supervise: Oversee a team of production operators to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing processes.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of product quality through consistent monitoring and enforcement of quality control measures.
  • Optimize Production: Implement and sustain production schedules, adjusting as necessary to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Training and Development: Provide coaching and development opportunities for team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on team performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement using techniques and problem solving
  • Result Orientated: Support Supervisors to achieve KPI's and escalate issues promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective and confident communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Proficiency basic computer skills.
  • Good level of numeracy.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure. 
  • Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts of nights, days and weekends.
