Primary ECT - Your Key Responsibilities

  • Teach a class in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, based on your strengths and school requirements
  • Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and creative lessons
  • Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment where all children can thrive
  • Track pupil progress and adapt your teaching to meet individual needs
  • Work closely with colleagues to deliver a broad, balanced, and inspiring curriculum
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with pupils, parents, and fellow staff members

Primary ECT - What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or expected qualification as an ECT by September 2025
  • A degree in Primary Education or a related subject
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a desire to make a lasting impact
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to work well within a team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional learning and reflective practice
