Primary ECT - Your Key Responsibilities
- Teach a class in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, based on your strengths and school requirements
- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and creative lessons
- Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment where all children can thrive
- Track pupil progress and adapt your teaching to meet individual needs
- Work closely with colleagues to deliver a broad, balanced, and inspiring curriculum
- Build strong, respectful relationships with pupils, parents, and fellow staff members
Primary ECT - What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or expected qualification as an ECT by September 2025
- A degree in Primary Education or a related subject
- A genuine passion for teaching and a desire to make a lasting impact
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to work well within a team
- Commitment to ongoing professional learning and reflective practice
