Primary ECT – What You’ll Be Doing:
- Teaching and supporting children across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on your placement
- Planning and delivering engaging, interactive lessons that nurture students' love for learning
- Helping children develop their literacy, numeracy, and social skills in a supportive classroom environment
- Monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and adjusting teaching strategies as needed
- Creating an inclusive and positive learning environment that fosters confidence and curiosity
- Collaborating with fellow teachers and staff to develop and deliver a dynamic curriculum
- Building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure the best possible learning outcomes
Primary ECT – What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS, or an ECT with experience teaching in a primary school setting
- A degree in Primary Education or a related field
- A genuine passion for teaching and helping young children succeed
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students
- A creative approach to teaching, with the flexibility to adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of students
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to collaborate with colleagues and continuously develop your teaching practice
