KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Parcel Sorter to join our client based in Carlisle! Our client is a leading transport company offering flexible and reliable services to their local and national customers. They are looking for an ongoing Parcel Sorter to join their team on an ongoing basis.

As a Parcel Sorter you will be working 5 out of 7 days with hours varying from 21:30/ 23:30 start time.

The rate of pay as a Parcel Sorter is:

• £11.81 p/h

Duties and responsibilities as a Parcel Sorter are:

• Take a parcel from a container, using handheld scanners to scan the bar code, check the “drop number” barcode and put it in the appropriately numbered trolley
• Scan 200+ parcels a day
• General warehouse duties
• Tidy up the area where you have been working so it is clean and safe for the next person on shift

The ideal candidate for a Parcel Sorter would need:

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
• Good time keeping skills
• Ability to work individually or in a team environment
• PPE- hi vis jacket and safet boots
