Do you have an interest in tutoring and mentorship which could be applied in a school setting?
Perhaps you have already established an aspiration of becoming a teacher but would like to enhance your future practice with some foundational experience?
We are looking for an exemplary graduate talent who can showcase their academic excellence and make a real impact on progress in this school for the remainder of this academic year as an Oxbridge Graduate Academic Mentor.
Oxbridge Graduate Academic Mentor – Job and Person Specification
• Oxbridge Graduate Academic Mentor
• MUST be an Oxbridge or a Russell Group graduate, ideally in subjects such as English, Maths, Science, or Humanities but other areas will be considered
• Are passionate about education and inspiring young minds
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate adaptability, resilience, and a proactive approach
• May have prior experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
• Experience tutoring KS3&KS4 students is beneficial but NOT essential
• Exceptional Public transport routes from surrounding boroughs and staff car park
• Full-time, Long-term – Monday-Friday
• Interviewing in March for an immediate start

As an Oxbridge Graduate Academic Mentor, you will:
• Provide tailored academic support to GCSE and A-Level students in preparation for their exams in your subject area
• Work closely with students aspiring to attend top universities, including Oxbridge and Russell Group institutions
• Assist with lesson planning, lead small group sessions, and provide one-on-one mentoring to address individual learning needs
• Play a pastoral role, supporting students’ well-being and confidence
