Maths ECT – What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Teaching Maths to students across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Fostering a love for Maths through dynamic, student-centred lessons
  • Supporting students with a range of abilities, from interventions to stretching the most able
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback, and adapting teaching strategies as needed
  • Creating an inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, collaboration, and confidence
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and engaging curriculum
  • Inspiring students to pursue further studies or careers in Maths and related fields

Maths ECT – What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS, or an ECT with experience teaching Maths in a classroom environment
  • A degree in Maths, or a related field
  • A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring students to embrace Maths
  • Strong subject knowledge with the ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to make complex concepts clear and accessible
  • A creative and adaptable approach to teaching, with the ability to cater to diverse student needs
  • A proactive attitude, eager to collaborate with colleagues and continue developing professionally
