We are seeking three Learning Support Assistants to join our Outstanding graded secondary school and sixth form in Newham, East London. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pupils while gaining experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities - Learning Support Assistant - Psychology Graduate
• Provide tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), behavioural challenges, literacy difficulties, and language barriers.
• Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to deliver interventions that enable pupils to reach their full potential.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Help students develop their confidence, social skills, and independence.
• Contribute to the overall pastoral care and wellbeing of students.
About You - Learning Support Assistant - Psychology Graduate
• Recent Psychology graduate with a strong academic background.
• A genuine passion for education, psychology, and supporting young people.
• Patient, empathetic, and resilient with excellent communication skills.
• Some experience in a school, tutoring, or care setting (advantageous but not essential).
• Aspiring Educational Psychologists or those pursuing a career in a related field are highly encouraged to apply.
