Learning Support Assistant – Job Description

• ASAP start - interviews and trial days to be held straight away
• Placement for the entire academic year – must be able to commit
• Responsibilities – 1-2-1 support year 4 boy, no behaviour difficulties

This learning support assistant role will greatly circle around the needs of a delightful and happy year for boy – ASD needs. Over the years, and partially with the support of graduate learning support assistants, this young man has really flourished.  Initially assessed to have quite acute needs, the IEP put in place and the whole school support offered have unlocked several doors helping this learner to lead a happy and rewarding educational life.

You will be supporting the further development of this learner in all aspects of school life, This pupil is a polite and happy learner, no behaviour difficulties and he is physically independent for break time/ lunch time and there is no need for personal care.
