The Opportunity: Graduate Unqualified Teacher

We're partnering with outstanding secondary schools across Leeds and West Yorkshire to find dynamic graduates in core subjects (Maths, English, Science, Humanities, MFL, or Computing) who are passionate about shaping young minds in our diverse Yorkshire communities.

What You'll Do: Graduate Unqualified Teacher

• Teach lessons in your specialist subject across West Yorkshire schools, with guidance from experienced Yorkshire educators
• Plan, mark, and assess students' work, contributing to academic success in our region's classrooms
• Create stimulating learning environments that reflect the diversity and energy of West Yorkshire communities
• Work alongside department heads and mentors to gain valuable insight into teaching in Yorkshire's distinctive educational landscape
• Develop key skills in classroom management, lesson planning, and teaching strategies tailored to local students' needs

Who We're Looking For: Graduate Unqualified Teacher

• A 2:1 degree or higher in a core subject from a reputable university
• Genuine passion for teaching and a strong desire to build your education career in West Yorkshire
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to lead diverse Yorkshire classrooms
• Commitment to helping local students thrive and succeed
• Prior experience with young people is advantageous but not essential
