The Opportunity:
We are working with outstanding secondary schools across North and West London that are looking for high-caliber graduates in core subjects (Maths, English, Science, Humanities, MFL, or Computing) to join them as Unqualified Teachers.
This is an incredible opportunity to work in a high-achieving, well-structured environment, gaining hands-on teaching experience while being fully supported and mentored.
The role runs until July 2025, after which successful candidates will have the opportunity to train as a fully qualified teacher through the school’s teacher training provider.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Teaching and delivering lessons in your specialist subject, supported by experienced educators.
- Planning, marking, and assessing students’ work, contributing to their academic progress.
- Engaging and motivating students, fostering a love for learning.
- Working closely with department heads and mentors, gaining first-hand insight into the teaching profession.
- Developing your skills in behaviour management, lesson planning, and effective classroom strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
- A 2:1 or above in a core subject from Oxbridge or a Russell Group university.
- A strong desire to pursue a career in teaching.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to lead a classroom.
- Passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed.
- Prior experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, or coaching) is advantageous but not essential.
