Graduate Trainee Teacher – Person & Job Specification
• Must hold or be working towards a 2:1 or above in your Maths, Science, English, History, Philosophy, RE or Geography degree (other subjects may be considered)
• A genuine desire to pursue a career in teaching and make a positive impact in the classroom
• Earn up to £32,000 per annum whilst training to teach
• Join a highly regarded school offering the an exception training programme – Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ provider
• Gain Qualified Teacher Status by July 2026
• Full-time role: 4 days in school and 1 day dedicated to online home learning
• Placement-based training with practical classroom focus and reduced academic stress

Graduate Trainee Teacher – The role
From September 2025, your training begins with a structured induction, reduced teaching hours and expert-led coaching.
With access to their excellent trust training programme – a nationally respected, school-centred teacher training route – this school offers one of the best pathways to gaining QTS.
You’ll be supported by a personal mentor as you begin crafting your own engaging lessons and gain classroom experience. This salaried programme provides an online learning platform with high-quality training sessions every Friday, giving you time away from the classroom to reflect and develop.
As your year as a Graduate Trainee Teacher progresses, your teaching hours will increase gradually as you build your confidence, expertise and readiness to achieve QTS by July 2026.
