Graduate teaching Assistant – The Role

• Full-time, long-tern Graduate Teaching Assistant role
• Earn up to £550 per week
• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM – Term time only.
• Providing 1:1 and small group support to students.
• Assisting with lesson planning and delivery, ensuring students are engaged in the curriculum.
• Supporting students during class discussions and group activities, encouraging creative thinking and effective communication.
• Helping students with revision techniques and exam preparation, ensuring they are ready for assessments.
• Encouraging students to develop critical thinking skills, analysis, and a passion for learning.
• Supporting classroom management, ensuring a focused and productive learning environment.
• Collaborating with the heads of department and other teaching staff to meet the needs of all students, including those with additional learning needs.

Graduate Teaching Assistant – Candidate Specification

• A degree 2:1 or above from a Russell Group University.
• Strong academic background (A-levels/GCSE’s).
• A genuine passion for education and a desire to inspire students to achieve their best.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and effectively.
• Previous experience in tutoring or educational support is desirable but not essential.
• Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to meeting individual student needs.
• A proactive attitude, with a strong desire to support students in their academic and personal growth.
• An interest in pursuing a career in education.
