Graduate Teaching Assistant – Candidate Specification
- Degree in any core subject (2:1 or higher preferred) – ideal for aspiring teachers.
- Passionate about education and supporting young learners in reaching their full potential.
- Immediate and September starts available – suitable for recent graduates or students due to graduate this year
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students effectively.
- Previous experience working with young people (mentoring, tutoring, or volunteering) is beneficial but not essential.
- Adaptable, patient, and enthusiastic, with a proactive approach to learning support.
Graduate Teaching Assistant – Job Specification
- Full-time, long-term Graduate Teaching Assistant role
- Competitive earnings of up to £560 per week.
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects.
- Work with students one-on-one and in small groups to provide tailored academic support.
- Assist with lesson planning, classroom management, and student engagement.
- Help prepare students for GCSE and A-Level success, supporting both high-achievers and those who need extra encouragement.
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, term-time only.
