A high-achieving school in Leicester is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team, providing academic and pastoral support to students across various year groups.

This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates considering a future in teaching, educational psychology, or SEN support, as you will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive school environment.

The Role:

  • Graduate Teaching Assistant based at a secondary school in Leicester
  • Earn up to £500 per week
  • Work closely with teachers to support lesson delivery and student engagement.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support, helping students reach their full potential.
  • Assist with behaviour management, ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Support students with SEN needs (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, Dyslexia, etc.), tailoring your approach to individual learning styles.
  • Gain experience in planning and delivering interventions, developing key teaching skills.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A graduate (2:2 or above) in any subject – ideal for those considering a career in education.
  • A positive and proactive attitude, with excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning.
  • Experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, coaching) is advantageous but not essential.
