An Outstanding Primary School in Wembley, Brent is looking for a motivated and compassionate Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience, supporting students requiring 1:1 support or intervention sessions, while contributing to their academic and personal growth.

About the Role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to help students improve their literacy, numeracy, and overall learning.
  • Support children with SEN or additional needs, ensuring they feel included and supported in their learning journey.
  • Work alongside teachers to plan and deliver tailored learning activities for students who need extra support.
  • Help prepare students for key assessments, including SATs preparation, through focused and targeted support.
  • Foster a nurturing and encouraging learning environment where every child can thrive.

About You:

  • A recent graduate (any subject) with a passion for working with children.
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
  • A proactive and empathetic approach to meeting the needs of children with diverse abilities.
  • Previous experience working with children (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, or volunteering) is highly desirable.
  • An interest in pursuing a career in teaching or education.
