Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant – Candidate Specification

• A 2:1 or higher degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related field.
• A strong academic record with a genuine passion for STEM education.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and challenge students.
• A desire to develop teaching skills, with the potential to progress into teacher training.
• Previous experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, or coaching) is desirable but not essential.

• Full-time, long-term Graduate Teaching Assistant role.
• Earn up to £520 per week.
• Support GCSE and A-Level students in STEM subjects, helping them achieve top grades.
• Assist in practical science experiments, mathematical problem-solving, and technology-based projects.
• Work closely with teachers and subject leaders to enhance STEM learning.
• Provide targeted intervention sessions to boost attainment and confidence.
• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, term-time only.
