Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant – Candidate Specification
- Degree in Science, Maths, Engineering, or a related field (2:1 or higher).
- A passion for STEM education and a commitment to fostering student success in Science and Maths.
- Academic excellence, with the ability to explain challenging concepts in a clear and accessible way.
- Desire to inspire young people and make a meaningful impact on their academic journey.
- Previous experience with tutoring or working with young people is beneficial but not essential.
Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant – Job Specification
- Full-time, long-term role offering Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant role
- Competitive earning potential of up to £520 per week.
- Support students in Science and Maths lessons, helping them develop their understanding of core concepts.
- Work with small groups or one-to-one, providing tailored support to students who are either excelling or falling behind.
- Help deliver intervention sessions to boost attainment in GCSE and A-Level STEM subjects.
- Inspire students to consider careers in STEM fields or pursue higher education at Russell Group universities.
- Monday to Friday, sociable hours (8:30 AM – 4:00 PM).
