An outstanding secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. In this Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant role, you will work closely with students across various year groups, supporting their understanding and enthusiasm for STEM subjects. You’ll be involved in one-to-one and small group support, providing additional assistance with lessons, practical experiments, homework, and exam preparation. You’ll also help students develop key skills like problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking that will serve them well in their future studies and careers.

Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant – Key Requirements:

  • A 2:1 degree or higher in a STEM-related subject (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar)
  • A strong passion for STEM education and inspiring students to achieve their best
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to support and engage students
  • A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to support students of varying abilities
