An Outstanding primary school in Birmingham is seeking a Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team immediately. This full-time Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant position offers the opportunity to work closely with dedicated teachers, providing essential support to students across STEM subjects within the primary curriculum.
Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant Role:
- Recent graduate with a 2:1 or above in a STEM-related subject (e.g., Mathematics, Science, Engineering).
- Previous experience in education is a plus but not essential.
- Passionate about helping students understand and appreciate STEM concepts.
- Comfortable assisting with one-on-one support, small group sessions, and general classroom assistance in STEM subjects.
- Aid in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons, activities, and projects related to STEM.
- Foster an inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and logical thinking.
- Support teachers in creating hands-on, interactive learning experiences that inspire students to explore STEM topics further.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your teaching skills and contribute to the school community.
Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant Key Details:
- Full-time Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant position, Monday to Friday, term-time only.
- Competitive weekly salary of £485-£510.
