Graduate Speech & Language Assistant - Person Specification

• Speech and Language/English graduate needed – 1^st and 2.1 degrees are preferred

• Aspirations of becoming a Speech and Language therapist, or adjacent field
• Previous experience welcomed but not essential
• Successful candidate will hold genuine empathy and passion for the nature of the work

Graduate Speech & Language Assistant - Job Description

• Graduate Speech & Language Assistant – Start date September 2024
• As a Graduate Speech & Language Assistant – earn £500 to £580 per week
• Full-time, long-term - Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm

• Work closely alongside educational psychologists/speech and language therapists

As a Graduate Speech & Language Assistant, you will use both your educational background and vibrant personality to encourage engagement and positive progress for students with EHCPs and SLCN.

You will play a pivotal role in encouraging inclusivity in the school to ensure no child is left behind. In your role as Graduate Speech & Language Assistant, you will be joining an extremely welcoming and supportive team who will be keen to support you within the role, as well as with your future aspirations.
