Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Candidate Specification
- Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant.
- A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related subject with a 2:1 or higher.
- A strong interest in early childhood development and supporting children with additional needs.
- Experience with young learners or an understanding of SEN practices is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Job Specification
- Full-time, long-term Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role
- Competitive earning up to £520 per week.
- Work alongside experienced teachers to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide tailored one-on-one and small-group support for children with SEN needs, including those awaiting Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Support language acquisition, early literacy skills, and overall developmental progress in young learners.
- Help to adapt lessons and learning materials to meet individual needs.
- Assist with observation and monitoring of developmental milestones to inform SEN support strategies.
- Gain valuable experience ideal for aspiring educational psychologists, speech and language therapists, or primary school teachers.
- Sociable hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM.
