Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – The Role

• Up to £520 per week
• Long-term, Full-time Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant Role
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support for children with SEN.
• Assist in delivering individualised learning strategies to meet the needs of each pupil.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists such as speech and language therapists.
• Support children with social skills, communication, and emotional regulation.
• Help create an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment where every child can thrive.

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Candidate Requirements

• A 2:1 or higher degree in Psychology, Education, or a related subject.
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Previous experience working with children with SEN (such as volunteering, tutoring, or mentoring) is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with staff and parents.
