Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

Our well-respected secondary school in Wellingborough is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with various needs, including ASD, learning difficulties, and behavioral challenges. In this fulfilling role, you’ll play a crucial part in helping these students succeed academically and personally.
What You'll Do: Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
- Support students with SEN on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
- Assist with access to the curriculum and provide help with social and emotional development.
- Collaborate with SEN professionals to create individualized learning strategies.
- Encourage students to develop their academic skills and self-confidence.
- Provide a calm, supportive environment where all students can thrive.

What We’re Looking For: Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
- A 2:1 degree or higher in Psychology.
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in an SEN setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs.
- Patience, empathy, and a calm demeanor.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to tailor your approach to individual students.
- A proactive attitude and a desire to make a difference.
- A strong interest in pursuing a career in education or SEN.
