Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting students with SEN in the classroom, both in small group settings and on a one-to-one basis
• Assisting students with personal care, learning, and social development
• Working alongside teachers to adapt lessons and learning activities to meet students’ individual needs
• Encouraging students to achieve their best, boosting their confidence and self-esteem
• Helping students with their homework, projects, and revision in a tailored manner
• Promoting an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and understood
• Supporting students with social and emotional development, ensuring a safe and nurturing space

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:

• A 2:1 degree or higher (preferably in a relevant subject such as Psychology, Education, or Special Educational Needs)
• A genuine passion for supporting students with SEN and a desire to make a difference
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with students and colleagues
• Previous experience working with young people or in SEN settings is beneficial, but not essential
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude towards supporting students
• A commitment to providing the best possible educational experience for students with SEN
