Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Up to £520 per week – Immediate Start

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to children with additional needs, such as autism, ADHD, sensory impairments, and speech and language difficulties
  • Assist in the development of early learning, language acquisition, and social communication skills
  • Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to implement personalised learning plans and provide tailored support
  • Use creative strategies to increase engagement, confidence, and academic progress in students
  • Support children awaiting diagnoses or EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans) to identify and address their specific needs
  • Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that encourages students to thrive

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Key Requirements:

  • A 2:1 degree or higher in Psychology, Education, Child Development, or a related field
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
  • A calm, compassionate, and adaptable personality, with a proactive approach to learning
  • Previous experience in working with children, tutoring, or mentoring is desirable but not essential
  • An interest in educational psychology, therapy, or teaching as a long-term career goal
  • A desire to make a positive difference in students’ academic and personal development
