A highly regarded secondary school in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. In this Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will work closely with students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and behavioural challenges. You will provide one-to-one and small group support, helping these students access the curriculum and develop their social, emotional, and academic skills.

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Key Requirements:
- A 2:1 degree or higher in a relevant subject (e.g., Psychology, Education, Sociology, or similar)
- Some prior experience supporting students with special educational needs, ideally in an educational setting
- A passion for working with children and a genuine desire to support those with SEN
- Patience, empathy, and a calm, positive approach to working with students
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt your approach to meet individual needs
- Eagerness to pursue a career in education, particularly in SEN, and a commitment to professional development
- A proactive attitude and a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of students
