Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Candidate Specification
- Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant.
- A 2:1 degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Education Studies, or a related subject.
- A passion for supporting students with special educational needs and fostering their development.
- Previous experience working with SEN learners or young people is advantageous but not essential.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to student support.
Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Job Specification
- Long-term, full-time role with competitive pay up to £500 per week.
- Collaborate with teachers and SEN coordinators to support students with acute autism, ADHD, severe learning difficulties, and emotional challenges.
- Provide personalized 1:1 support and lead small group interventions to meet individual needs.
- Adapt lesson materials and activities to ensure inclusivity and engagement.
- Build meaningful relationships with students, fostering confidence and independence.
- Monday to Friday, sociable hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM.
