An established school in Newcastle, dedicated to working with Primary-aged students with multiple and complex needs, is seeking an experienced Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their exceptional team. Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant Role:
- Competitive salary of £500 per week
- Full-time, long-term Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role based in Newcastle
- Sociable working hours between 8:00 and 4:00, Monday to Friday
- Support students 1:1 and in small groups, addressing their unique learning, emotional, and social needs
- Collaborate with SEN specialists, therapists, and teaching staff to create tailored support plans
- Gain training in behaviour management, de-escalation techniques, and safe physical restraint methods
- Help identify triggers and implement effective interventions to ensure students thrive in a safe and nurturing environment
- Provide care and guidance that fosters resilience, emotional well-being, and academic growth
