Duties:

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Birmingham based school – up to £500 per week

An exceptional school in Birmingham is looking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to provide vital support to students with a range of additional needs. This role is available on a long-term basis and will start as soon as possible.

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant Person Specification

  • Recent graduate (2:1 or above) in Education, Psychology, or a related field
  • Previous classroom experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong desire to pursue a career in SEN, Education Psychology, or related fields
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs
  • Resilient, proactive, and adaptable

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant Role Overview

  • Full-time Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role, Monday to
  • Salary: £480 - £500 per week
  • Provide tailored 1:1 and group support to students with additional needs
  • Assist class teachers in delivering lessons and managing the classroom environment
  • Support students with a variety of learning and behavioural needs, helping them engage in the curriculum
  • Participate in professional development opportunities, including training and workshops
  • Start date: ASAP
