  • Work 1-to-1 and in small group settings with pupils with additional needs

  • Graduates with an Education or Psychology related degree welcome to apply
  • Previous experience preferred but not essential

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to promote personalisation of learning and support given to each student. The school provides a bespoke and individualised curriculum for students with a variety of needs that require additional support in a 1-to-1 and small group setting. Your goal is to provide them with this support, providing them with an opportunity to experience a positive learning environment.

This school in Crewe has recently been graded Good by Ofsted and was commended for it's superb learning environment created for both staff and children. This is a school that caters for a number of different needs. Although previous experience is preferred, the school also offers bespoke training and is looking for the right type of character to join them – someone passionate and willing to get stuck in. They have recently moved into a state-of-the-art building with exceptional learning facilities that cater for all students from a variety of backgrounds.

The school are looking to start the right candidate from the beginning of the academic year in order to have enough time to create a positive relationship with the children and become an important part of the support team. The role will continue for the full academic year for the right person, with the opportunity of a permanent position to be discussed depending on performance.
