Hours: 8:30AM-4:00PM Mon-Friday

Graduate SEN Classroom Assistant: Candidate specification

• Graduated with a 2:1 or higher in Psychology, Health and Social care and sociology (or related field)
• Strong academic background through GCSE’S and A-Levels
• Is passionate about working with children and has an interest in SEN
• Can work collaboratively as part of a team but also independently

Graduate SEN Classroom Assistant: Job specification

• Work closely with teachers to support students with SEN across Key Stage 3 and 4
• Provide 1-1 support or small group interventions, helping students access the curriculum and achieve their goals
• Support students with emotional regulations, social skills and confidence-building activities
• As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will collaborate with the wider school teams including Special Educational Needs Co—Ordinator (SENCO), teachers and parents/carers
