The Role
As a Graduate Russell Group Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work closely with subject-specific departments, utilizing your degree knowledge to support students.
- Lead small group booster sessions for GCSE and A-Level students, focusing on enhancing academic performance.
- Support classroom learning by assisting teachers with lesson delivery and student engagement.
- Help gifted and talented students achieve their potential while providing support for those who may need extra guidance.
- Gain first-hand experience of the education sector, preparing you for future teacher training opportunities.
About You
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated graduates who:
- Hold a degree (minimum 2:1) from a Russell Group University.
- Are passionate about education and working with young people.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- May have prior experience in tutoring or working in schools (desirable but not essential).
- Are considering teacher training, such as a PGCE or School Direct program, in 2025 or beyond.
