Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant – Candidate Specification

  • Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant
  • A degree in Psychology or a closely related discipline is essential
  • Experience working with young people or individuals with SEN is helpful but not mandatory

Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant – Job Specification

  • Full-time, long-term Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant role
  • Earn up to £520 per week
  • Work alongside teachers and SEN coordinators to support learners with additional needs
  • Provide one-on-one or small group interventions tailored to students’ unique requirements
  • Support emotional well-being and help build confidence in SEN learners
  • Facilitate classroom activities by adapting resources and ensuring accessibility for all students
  • Monitor progress and assist in creating a positive, nurturing learning environment
  • Gain invaluable insight into education and SEN support in a mainstream secondary school setting
  • Sociable hours of Monday to Friday, between 8:00 and 16:00

This Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant role is based in a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Manchester.
