Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – The Essentials

  • Full-time, long-term role – Start immediately or from September 2025
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (32.5 hours per week)
  • Weekly Pay: Up to £550 depending on experience
  • Provide tailored support to pupils in both 1:1 and small group settings
  • Ideal for graduates with a 2:1 or higher in Education, Psychology, or a core subject
  • A school with a strong reputation for mentoring Graduate Primary Teaching Assistants into successful careers
  • Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
  • Interviews available immediately

Your Role as a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

In this rewarding role, you will work closely with teachers and the school’s SENCO to deliver meaningful support to pupils who need it most. Whether it’s through targeted 1:1 support or small group activities, you’ll help children build confidence, stay engaged, and make real progress in their learning.
