The Role – Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Work full-time in a long-term role, earning up to £600 per week.

• Support class teachers by working with children in small groups and one-to-one sessions.

• Assist students with reading, writing, and numeracy skills to help them reach their full potential.

• Help deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire students’ curiosity and love of learning.

• Foster children’s confidence, behaviour, and emotional well-being to ensure their success both academically and socially.

• Gain practical experience in the classroom, ideal for those considering teacher training or a PGCE in the future.

What We’re Looking For - Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

We are looking for enthusiastic and caring graduates who:

• Hold a 2:1 degree or higher in any subject (degrees in Education, Psychology, English, or related fields are particularly desirable).

• Have a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and staff.

• Have previous experience working with young people in any capacity (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or volunteering).

• Are eager to gain hands-on experience and explore a future career in teaching.
