Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – The Role:

As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Earn up to £520 per week
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to help children with their reading, writing, and numeracy skills.
  • Assist class teachers in delivering engaging and creative lessons.
  • Support children’s social and emotional development, helping them grow in confidence.
  • Work with pupils of all abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported.
  • Gain hands-on experience in a vibrant and rewarding primary school setting.

Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – Candidate Requirements:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic graduate who:

  • Holds a 2:1 or higher degree in any subject (Education, Psychology, English, or related fields preferred).
  • Has a genuine passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
  • Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Has experience working with young people, such as tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or volunteering (desirable but not essential).
  • Is eager to gain classroom experience before progressing onto teacher training.
