Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, your role will include:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to students, helping them with classwork and building skills in literacy, numeracy, and other subjects
• Assisting with lesson planning and delivery, ensuring all students are engaged and able to access the curriculum
• Supporting students with study skills, note-taking, and revision techniques to boost academic performance
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour, creating a positive and focused learning environment
• Working closely with the class teacher to support students’ social and emotional development
• Assisting in the preparation for assessments and helping students gain confidence in their learning
• Supporting students with additional learning needs, working alongside the SEN team
• Encouraging a love of learning and motivating students to engage fully in their education

Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:

• A 2:1 degree or higher in any subject
• A genuine passion for education and a desire to help students succeed
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with young learners
• Previous experience in tutoring or educational support is desirable, but not essential
• Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to supporting individual students’ needs
• A proactive attitude, with a strong desire to make a positive impact on students’ lives
• An interest in pursuing a career in education
