The school itself takes pride within everything it does from its chicken coup which the children help feed and look after to help them gain valuable life skills to creating fun and engaging activities in the classroom to create the best possible school experience. The school has close connections with the derby theatre, where the students took part in the Jungle book performance which allowed students to get involved with extracurricular activities and connecting with the local community.

About the role: Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

• Full-time position with the opportunity to work across all primary age groups.
• Support students with various learning needs, both inside and outside the classroom.
• Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver engaging fun lessons and activities.
• Assist with classroom management and ensure positive learning environment.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support to enhance individual student progress.

About you: Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

• Recent Graduates with 2:1 or above with matching A-levels and GCSE’s
• Passionate about education and making a positive impact on children’s lives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Patience, empathy and a proactive attitude.
