Graduate Primary Classroom Assistant Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to children who need extra help with their learning.
• Encourage students to develop their literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
• Help manage classroom activities, ensuring all children are included and engaged.
• Support students in developing their confidence, emotional resilience, and positive behaviour.
• Contribute to the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
• Observe and track student progress, providing feedback and support to both the teacher and students.

Graduate Primary Classroom Assistant Key Requirements:

• A 2:1 degree or higher in any subject (preferably education, psychology, or a related field).
• A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their learning and development.
• Prior experience working with children (desirable but not essential).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting individual children’s needs.
• A desire to pursue a career in education, teaching, or a related field such as child psychology or special education.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to the school’s needs.
