  • Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant
  • Full-time, long term opportunity (32.5 hours per week)
  • Start dates available immediately or from September
  • Earn up to £560 per week as a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant
  • Provide tailored support to students who need help achieving targeted grades
  • Applicants should hold a 2:1 or higher in Mathematics or a related subject
  • Strong numeracy and subject knowledge essential
  • Teacher training opportunities beginning in 2026
  • Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
  • Interviewing immediately

This thriving secondary school in Liverpool, rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, is looking to recruit a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant to help raise attainment in numeracy across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school prides itself on high expectations and a nurturing learning environment.

What will my Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant role involve?

  • Support teachers with the planning and delivery of engaging Maths lessons
  • Work with students on a one-to-one or small group basis to reinforce learning
  • Monitor progress and assist pupils in overcoming specific learning challenges
  • Promote a positive learning environment that builds confidence and motivation

This role is expected to continue through to July 2026, with the possibility for top-performing graduates to be considered for the school’s in-house teacher training programme.
