Location: Bexley, Sidcup, DA14

Start date: Immediate or September 2025

Hours: 8:30AM-4:00PM Mon-Friday

Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant – Candidate Speciation

-          Looking for a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant who has achieved (or on track to achieve) a 2:1 or higher in Mathematics or any related degree 

-          Has a genuine interest in working in education and exploring the teaching profession

-          Is passionate about their subject and keen to share that enthusiasm with young learners

-          May have previous experience in tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or working with young people (desirable, but not essential)

Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant – Job Role

As a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning within the school. Your daily responsibilities will include:

-          Providing targeted academic support to students, both in small groups and 1-to-1

-          Assisting in the creation of resources and planning activities that make Maths accessible, exciting, and relevant

-          Working closely with Maths teachers to deliver engaging, effective lessons

-          As a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant, you will be helping students build confidence and resilience in their learning journey

-          Supporting behaviour management and classroom routines to ensure a positive learning environment
