Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting students in maths lessons, reinforcing key concepts and skills
- Assisting with lesson planning, classroom activities, and homework support
- Providing 1:1 or small group support to help students improve their mathematical understanding and performance
- Helping students develop problem-solving, analytical, and logical thinking skills
- Encouraging students to develop a positive attitude towards maths and build their confidence in the subject
- Working closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and achieve learning objectives
- Assisting in classroom management and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Monitoring students’ progress and providing feedback to help them achieve their academic goals
Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
- A 2:1 degree or higher in Mathematics, Maths Education, or a related field
- A strong passion for maths and a desire to support students in their academic journey
- Previous experience in an educational setting is beneficial but not essential
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly
- Patience, empathy, and flexibility to meet the diverse needs of students
- A proactive attitude and the desire to inspire students and help them succeed
- An interest in pursuing a future career in teaching, education, or educational support
