A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an individual with a stellar STEM background to join a Liverpool secondary school from January 2025 as a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant.

The school provides a first class education and equips students for 21st century learning – regardless of background or ability. Their curriculum challenges the gifted and talented students as well as providing enhanced teaching for those with special educational and complex learning needs. This provides an array of different opportunities for up and coming teachers to experience a variety of scenaros to equip them for their future career.

As a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant, your role will be to work closely with students who may be falling behind their targeted grades for various reasons. You will across the Maths department to provide 1-1 and small group support, providing struggling students with the opportunity to go into detail about particular topics they may find difficult. You will also work closely with excelling students, using your academic successes as a leading example as to what they can chieve going forward.

This school is located north of Liverpool city centre. It is easily commutable from most of Liverpool, and has excellent bus routes for those who do not drive. The school are looking for somebody with a STEM background and has achieved a minimum 2:1 during their studies.
