An exceptional primary school in the heart of Huddersfield is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join their team. About the Graduate Learning Support Assistant Role:

• Full-time, long-term position for the rest of the academic year and beyond
• Competitive salary of up to £520 per week
• Located in central Huddersfield with easy access to public transport
• Ideal for those considering careers as SEN teachers, educational psychologists, or speech and language therapists
• Work alongside experienced teachers to develop valuable skills
• Provide 1-2-1 and small group support to students, helping them overcome academic and personal challenges
• Collaborate with in-house educational psychologists, speech & language therapists, and external professionals to support student case studies
• Enjoy sociable working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm

About You: The ideal candidate for this Graduate Learning Support Assistant role:

• Holds a 2:1 or First-Class degree in Psychology (or a closely related subject) from a reputable university
• Has a strong passion for working with children, particularly those with SEN
• Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to overcoming learning barriers
• Has strong emotional intelligence and can respond appropriately to varying situations and personalities in the classroom
